If you saw the 2009 DVF spring runway show then you will remember the beautiful headbands. They were floral headbands with a super bohemian flare. I love them and I always planned on making my own.
Here we are in 2012 and since there are still lots of floral patterns on the spring runways I thought I could get away with it this year. I found these gorgeous flowers at Micheal's and decided I was going to do it! Here is my DIY DVF headband in Instagram form.
Sorry that was a lot of photos. It was easy to make, but very tedious. I'm happy I stuck through it I love the finished product. If you have a glue gun it would probably be a lot easier and faster.
I'm excited to wear it. I think I'm going to wear it either for Valentine's day and pair it with something sweet or maybe I'll wear it on my birthday and try to make it look a little more girly edgy. What do you think?

| Supplies: silk flowers, a headband covered with fabric, ribbon, needle and thread |
| Wrap ribbon around the headband, you can also braid it. |
| Sew the ribbon to the headband on the inside |
| Sew flowers onto an extra piece of ribbon |
| Sew ribbon with flowers on to head band |
| Add extra ribbon to the side and extra flowers if you'd like |
